See What They Did To 78-year-old Man While Performing Prosperity Rituals On A U.S-based Nigerian

Lawrence Ayeni, 78, and four others, Ifashola Babatunde, 44, Akin Ono, 25, Yusuf Akorede, 30, and Adetifa Ishola, 45, were arrested yesterday in Ekiti state, for allegedly defrauding a Nigerian based in the U.S., Okechukwu Omeniho, of N300,000.

Ayeni, a suspected ritualist, was arrested alongside the four others, inside a bush at Iwaro, Oke Ila Quarters of Ado-Ekiti, where they were performing rituals on Omeniho, who was believed to have been charmed, under the pretext of appeasing the gods of fortunes and prosperity for him.
Omeniho is a businessman who hails from Owerri, Imo State, but resides in Atlanta, Georgia, U.S. The NSCDC Commandant in Ekiti, Donatus Ikemefuna, who paraded them, said: “Omeniho cried uncontrollably when we arrested him alongside these wicked people. He was even asking about where he was because he had been charmed. They had collected money from him. He could not explain how he fell into their hands and committed such a huge amount of money to people he had never met before after being tricked from his base.”
